Cats can be insured as early as 8 weeks of age. Taking out cat insurance early will ensure better protection.

Cats up to five years old are accepted. However, it is recommended to insure the cat as soon as you get it.

Excess is what a policy holder pays when they wish to claim. You pay an excess once per Condition, per Policy year. This means that if your pet has a lifelong condition, you only pay the excess once per year, rather than per claim you need to make. The plan you choose will determine this.
